Winch Service Kits Make Periodic Service Easy

As a heavy equipment dealer, you know very well that one of your best sources for high-margin business is in your aftermarket parts and service offerings. Allied Systems now has some new tools to help you increase that business from your Allied winch customers.

Starting now, all new Allied winches will be equipped with a decal clearly spelling out the recommended service intervals. Allied is also developing spare parts kits for each of the service intervals. When you combine a service kit along with service labor, you deliver a value-added product that helps you and your customer at the same time. A true win-win situation.

We encourage you to get your field parts and service representatives to become acquainted with this new decal and to remind your customers that winches need regular maintenance just like the tractor does.

For winch units already in the field, we are in the process of creating Parts Marketing Bulletins that contain the recommended service intervals. Each service kit is available as a single part number.

The first bulletin for the Allied W8L winch is bulletin number PMB0801. This is also available on the Allied dealer e-commerce website, ec.alliedsystems.com. Please check the website periodically, because new bulletins will be coming out soon. Go on-line and sign up for the parts ordering system if you have not already done so.
