Many of the winches that compete with the LANTEC winch use a cast drum. You can find a winch with several different drum sizes, but if what you need is not in their catalog, you will be out of luck.
Not so with the LANTEC winch manufactured by Allied. We fabricate the drum from high strength steel tubes and plates. This means that almost any drum size can be offered.
We also automated the engineering and manufacturing process to give the dealer maximum flexibility. Just enter the preferred drum barrel diameter, barrel length, and flange diameter, and the drawings needed for fabrication and assembly and the engineering load calculations are available within minutes.
Your spec sheets list "typical" drum configurations. But the actual choice of possible drum size is almost limitless. In addition, if you need performance specs and cable capacities for your special drum size, we will be happy to provide that information, in most cases the same day.
