The Allied towing winch is sold all over the world. Frequently, our winches wind up in some very remote corners of the globe. As a result, we need our dealers to provide the local support for taking care of any winch problems that may come up.
P.T. Trakindo Utama, one of the largest Cat dealers in the world, covers all of Indonesia. Many of their customers are using the Allied W8L winch on D7G tractors for forestry applications. With such a large population of winches in Indonesia, the field service team needs to be fully trained on winch servicing.
Recently, Allied was pleased to have Trakindo's Field Service Supervisor, Bambang P.W., as our guest for a week of intensive training on the W8L winch. Bambang spent most of his time on the factory floor, observing assembly of new winches, tearing down old winches, and operating the test stand. Bambang will take his training back to Indonesia to share with the rest of the Trakindo service team.
