PTO Installation Kit for
Komatsu D85X-15 Dozer
The Allied W8L winch for D85X-15 now comes standard with PTO drive kit. Previously, the D85 needed to be equipped with the optional PTO drive from Komatsu to fit the Allied winch. At times this kit has had a lead time that exceeded the winch lead time. To remove any such obstacle, Allied is now offering this kit as a standard part of the D85X-15 winch package.
This kit is also available as a stand-alone part for retrofit of existing D85X-15 dozers. The Allied part number is 2313194.
We recently delivered a large fleet of W8L winches for D85EX-15 and W6G winches for D65PX-15 to Komatsu dealer UMW Niugini for a pipeline project in Papua New Guinea. Allied technical staff were on-site to support the delivery and to conduct product and service training.
Paul Powazuk and Merv Laing of UMW Niugini in Papua New Guinea delivered a fleet of Komatsu dozers for a major pipeline project crossing mountainous terrain. All the dozers came equipped with Allied towing winches.
H4A Winch for Case 650L-850L
The Case 650L, 750L and 850L dozers have traditionally taken the Allied W3C PTO-driven winch. Case dealers, however, sometimes require a hydraulic winch on these models to meet a bid spec or a special requirement. Allied has responded with the H4A hydraulic winch. The winch pump and motor are both inside the winch case. The winch pump is driven by the Case PTO drive.
The hydraulic winch provides exceptional line speed control. Case dealers now have a choice of a W3C powershift winch or an H4A hydraulic winch. Allied is also the only winch manufacturer to offer an optional logging arch for this size winch (see photo).
Case Power and Equipment in Sacramento, California landed a government bid with a 650L dozer equipped with H4A winch and optional logging arch.
Improved H4A Winch Mounting on Komatsu D39 for Rear Radiator Access
Early versions of the H4A winch were found to have the potential for interference when trying to open the rear radiator grille on D31/37/39X-22 dozers. Allied has now improved the mounting design to eliminate all possibility of interference (see photos). A kit is also available to convert early versions of H4A to the current arrangement. Please refer to Service Bulletin A2-A-8 for ordering information.
The improved winch mounting allows the rear radiator grille to clear the H4A winch, even when equipped with logging arch.
Winch Paint to Match OEM Color
Allied winches now come in your standard dozer color for no additional cost. The winches illustrated here were painted at Allied to match the paint color of the dozer to which they will be mounted. This saves you time and money and delivers a much more finished look for your customers. Matching paint is available for winches for Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Case, and Dressta.
