The Ranger skidder distribution network continues to grow with the appointment of three new dealers. Let's take a quick world tour and visit these new dealerships.

Let's head first "down under" to Australia, land of cuddly koalas, vicious crocodiles, great beer, and an active forest products industry. The new Ranger dealer is Banbury Engineering, with headquarters in Melbourne and five other offices across the country.

Banbury is a leading Australian owned equipment distribution company, operating on a national basis and in business since 1967. Their principal lines are Kato excavators and cranes and Bomag compactors. Ranger skidder will be a key addition as they expand their coverage into forestry.

The Ranger skidder will roll out in a big way in March 2000 at Aus-Timber, the national forestry exhibition.

From Australia, we head to the "great white North" of Canada, and the province of Saskatchewan. Southern Saskatchewan is renowned as a wheat-growing area, but the north country has significant timber stands.

Redhead Equipment will represent Ranger skidders in the province of Saskatchewan. They currently have the Case product line and will be moving aggressively into forestry with Ranger skidders. They are headquartered in Regina, and have four other offices across the province.

The Ranger skidder rolled out to the public under the Redhead banner at the Saskatchewan Forestry Expo in July.

From Canada, we now hop over to the beautiful US state of Vermont, famous for maple syrup, high-quality granite and picturesque New England villages. Those same trees that produce maple syrup also account for some high-value timber that's always in demand for cabinetry and furniture.

Pete's Repair will represent Ranger skidders in Vermont and in the adjacent state of New Hampshire, plus the northeast corner of New York, where the Adirondack mountains are located. Pete's has been in business 17 years, starting out in the repair of skidders. As their reputation for quality work and customer focus grew, so did the call for additional products.

The Ranger skidder was the ideal addition to their business. Along with new machine sales, Pete's expects significant growth in parts and service revenue from the large installed base of old Clark skidders in the area.

Allied congratulates these new dealers, and looks forward to long and prosperous relationships.
