The best never rest. Just ask our Ranger engineering design team, who have been working extra hard lately to release a host of new Ranger skidder enhancements for the H67. These Ranger H67 skidder improvements add up to major advances in performance, functionality, operator comfort, and overall value. Check out these new features.
Tilt Steering

|
Skidder operators come in all shapes and sizes. The tilt steering wheel allows the operator to set the wheel just where it's needed for maximum comfort. The tilt can be varied through an angle range of 40 degrees.
Wider Top Step

Some skidder operators stay in their cab most of the work day. But most find themselves climbing in and out frequently. Thanks to customer feedback, we've learned that some tricky footwork is required to reach the top step. We now have a wider step that will make things much easier for the operator when entering and leaving the cab.

Radio/Cassette Player Option
For operators of grapple skidders with enclosed cab, heater and air conditioning, the cab is now their principal workplace. As a result, the workplace needs to provide some of the same comforts that their office-bound counterparts now enjoy. The radio/cassette player has been one of the most requested options, and is now available.
New Radiator Design
Keeping a skidder running cool in the heat of the summer has always been a challenge. We now have a new radiator that will deliver much more efficient cooling to all three major systems-engine, transmission and hydraulic system.
The new radiator contains three sections, one for each system. What's novel is that the three sections are side-by-side. The three sections are more isolated from one another, and a heat rise in one section is less likely to raise temperatures in the other two.

We have a number of other enhancements that are equally important, but less visible. The principal ones are:
New grapple snubber material
New battery disconnect switch location
Modified grab handles on cab
Hose rollers for grapple hoses
In-line fuel strainer
Improved grapple lock collar
Raised grapple control levers
Rotatable exhaust muffler
Improved windshield wiper
Some of these enhancements have already been documented in Ranger Service Bulletins. If you need additional details on any enhancement, please call your Territory Manager or the Service Department.
