Manufacturing Engineer

Allied Systems Company has an immediate vacancy for a Manufacturing Engineer. Responsibilities will include acting as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing with responsibilities for design review, manufacturing and process guidelines, routings, time standards, BOM's and more.

Material Handling Supervisor

Allied Systems Company has an immediate vacancy for a Material Handling Supervisor. Responsibilities will include direct supervision of personnel in Building #5 and oversight of material handling functions. This person will also be responsible to support additional material handling functions in Bldg's 1, 2 and 3.

CNC Machine Shop Supervisor - Day and Swing Shifts Available

Allied Systems Company has immediate vacancies for CNC Machine Shop Supervisors - both day and swing shifts. Responsibilities will include direct supervision of personnel and management of CNC support functions for the CNC machine shop. Expectations include working on the shop floor in close proximity to the areas assigned. Employs lean manufacturing concepts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages CNC Programming functions and personnel throughout the organization for CNC mills and lathes. The department is responsible for the following functions:

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in machine technology or three to four years related experience in machining environment and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Candidates will also have a demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment. The individual in the position may be required to operate such equipment as necessary to prove out programs, set up and/or prove new technologies.

 

Sales Representative - Inside

We currently have a full time position for an Inside Sales Representative in our Service Parts Department.

This position is responsible for producing and processing product support sales thru customer service related activities.

Specific job responsibilities will include:

Qualified candidates will have a college degree and/or at least 2 years of inside sales experience in a parts environment.  Strong computer skills with MS Office required (especially Word & Excel). A positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and the ability to work as a team member in a fast paced environment are essential.

 

Field Service Representative

We have an immediate opportunity for a Field Service Representative for our Marine Crane product line.

Job duties will include assisting our dealers and end users troubleshooting and repairing marine cranes, operator training, and product demonstrations. Successful candidate will have a sound mechanical background related to heavy equipment, experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems and an ability to read schematics.

Engineering or vocational/trade school and military background is preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Routine travel also required.

 

CNC Burner (Trainee) - Swing Shift

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Burner with 1-3 years of experience.

Experienced candidates should have experience operating CNC Burn Tables and knowledge of plate handling techniques and burning plate up to 6” thickness.

We may also consider trainee candidates that have prior welding experience and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

 

Press Brake Operator - Swing

Mfr of heavy equipment has an immediate opening for an experienced Press Brake Operator with a minimum of 3-5 years experience. Position requires the ability to run a 600-ton CNC hydraulic press. Must be able to read and understand blueprints.

The qualified candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced work environment.

 

Maintenance Mechanic

We have an immediate need for a full time maintenance mechanic on day shift.

The successful candidate will be able to perform general repair and maintenance on a variety of machines used in our manufacturing/machine shop to include CNC machines, overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, power assisted power jacks, welding machines, etc. Candidates should be familiar with machine shop practices and able to perform modest fabrication in an effort to support equipment and facilities needs. This may include bending, cutting and light welding of metal.

Basic facilities support will include lighting, plumbing, office support and light building repairs.

Must possess a strong familiarity with the maintenance and repair of large mills, lathes and drilling machines. This will include the ability to disagnose and repair, replace bearings and seals, adjustments to gib and backlash, alignment of hoists, jacks, handtools, levels, etc. Must be able to read blueprints/schematics and technical documents while performing maintenance and repair activities.

Mechanics - Final Assembly

Manufacturer of heavy equipment currently has multiple openings on day shift (6am - 2:30pm, M-F). Responsibilities will include assembling new product lines to include log stackers, hay baling equipment, forklift attachments, marine cranes and dozers. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years related work experience and/or educational background from trades school. Candidates should have working knowledge of hydraulics and electrical components. Must be able to interpret engineering drawings.


Candidates are required to have their own tools. This includes:

 

CNC Machinists

Swing and day shift positions available. Must be able to do own set ups and editing. Community College/trade school training helpful in addition to on-the-job experience.

 

Manual Machinists

Horizontal Boring Mill, must have experience handling and setting up large parts. Day and swing shift positions available.
